Samsung has unveiled the world’s first modular TV dubbed “The Wall” at CES 2018 back in January. Now the company has begun taking pre-orders and the modular TV’s will likely shift in the third quarter of this year. We had a glimpse of this modular, bezel-less 146-inch TV when Samsung presented it alongside innovations in display technology. The USP of the wall is the self-emitting micrometre scale LEDs that eliminates the need for colour filters of the backlight.

Also, the screen enhances the lifetime of the light source and saves power consumption. Apart from it is durable and effective and includes luminous efficiency. The Micro LED TV is modular, meaning the customers have the option to customise the size as per the need and requirement. The Wall further supports HDR 10+ technology.
The Wall delivers multiple colours and incredible brightness of 1,600 nits, which is much higher than the current QLED’s. The modular TV can very well fit in various places like lobbies, museums, retail spaces and galleries. Initially, Samsung limits its orders to business and later it will be made available to the consumers. The company has announced the launch of “The Wall” at InfoComm 2018 trade show in Las Vegas. Samsung will complete the installation of TVs in the United States by the end of the third quarter. For the rest of us, Samsung will begin offering Micro LED TVs in the second half of 2018.
