As promised earlier at the launch of Mi MiX3, Xiaomi
If you look back, Xiaomi has announced earlier this month that a 5G variant of Mi Mix 3 would be launched in Europe in 2019. Many dismissed the claims, but now it is very much confirmed to launch the new variant with 5G compatibility. From the images, it appears they carried the 5G speed tests in a controlled environment. Xiaomi has launched Mi Mix 3 in October this year flaunting a host of attractive features under its hood.
To state a few, there is a magnetic sliding front camera, a dual-camera setup, bezel-less display with no notch. Apart let’s have a glance at some of the specifications of Mi MiX3:
The device sports a 6.39-inch Full-HD AMOLED display with 19:5:9 aspect ratio. Mi MiX 3 will be powered by Snapdragon 845 Octa-core processor. Further, the device packs a whopping 10GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. There is a dual camera set up on the front as well as the rear end of the phone. On the front portion, there is a 24 MP primary sensor and 2MP sensor, as for the rear camera there is a dual 12MP camera sensor with varying apertures. Coming to the battery the device sports 3850mAh with support for quick charge 4+ and 10W wireless charging.

If everything goes as per plan, Xiaomi would launch the 5G variant at CES 2019 in January or Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019 in February. This would definitely give a clear edge over its competitors that include Samsung, Huawei and One Plus as all of these manufacturers are currently working on to bring handsets with 5G connectivity in early 2019.
